Song to video clip
AI Music Video Generator
Choose the best 5 to 15 seconds of your track, pick a look, and optionally add a photo of the artist. The video is generated around that slice of audio — cuts and motion follow the music, and your song stays as the soundtrack.
- Motion follows the rhythm of your clip
- Your song kept as the soundtrack
- Artist photo keeps the face consistent
The image guides the main character or artwork; the song clip drives the motion.
2 credits per second of video (768p). The clip keeps your song as its soundtrack. Failed videos are refunded.

How the AI music video generator works
- 01
Pick the hook
Upload your song; the loudest stretch is pre-selected as a starting point. Drag to the chorus or drop and choose 5, 10 or 15 seconds.
- 02
Choose a look and format
Cinematic story, live performance, 2D animation, abstract visualizer, retro VHS or dreamy pastel, in 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1. Add a scene description and an artist photo if you like.
- 03
Generate and post
Most clips are ready in under a minute. Download the MP4 at 768p and post it to Reels, TikTok, Shorts or your release page.
Short clips, made from your actual song
Releasing music now means releasing video, too. Every platform where listeners discover songs — TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Spotify's looping Canvas — is a video feed, and a static cover with a waveform rarely stops anyone scrolling. A full music video is out of reach for most independent artists, but the clips that actually get posted are short: ten seconds of the chorus, the drop or the first line of the hook. This AI music video generator is built for exactly those clips.
Most AI video tools take a text prompt and nothing else, then leave you to line the result up with your track. Here the audio comes first. The slice you select is sent to the video model as reference audio, and the model is asked to keep it unchanged as the soundtrack while timing cuts, camera moves and movement to its rhythm and energy. In our tests the output video carried the selected audio as its soundtrack, so the clip is ready to post without re-syncing in an editor.
Give the AI music video generator a face to work with
Add a photo of the artist — or your cover art — and it becomes a reference image. The model keeps the person's look consistent while placing them in the scene: in our live performance sample, a studio portrait of a singer in a denim jacket became the same singer on a small club stage under spotlights. Use a clear, front-facing photo, and only upload images of people who have agreed to appear. Without a photo, the AI music video generator invents the characters from your description and the look you chose.
Six looks, each with a purpose
Cinematic story suits singer-songwriter and pop tracks that tell a story, with natural light and slow tracking shots. Live performance puts the artist on a stage with lights and haze — the strongest choice when you add an artist photo. 2D animation gives a hand-drawn look for lo-fi, indie and children's music. Abstract visualizer turns the clip into flowing shapes and particles that react to the beat, ideal for electronic and instrumental tracks. Retro VHS adds camcorder texture and quick cuts for hip-hop, punk and nostalgic pop. Dreamy pastel is soft focus and golden light for ballads, bedroom pop and R&B.
Formats, length and price
Clips are generated at 768p in 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube and websites, or 1:1 for feed posts. The AI music video generator charges two credits per second, so a five-second loop is 10 credits, ten seconds is 20 and fifteen is 30. A failed generation hands its credits back, and closing the tab doesn't stop anything — the finished clip shows up in your recent videos.
Pair the clip with a cover from the album cover generator and a full-length lyric video for YouTube. Need the song itself? Start with the AI song generator.
AI music video generator samples
Two ten-second clips generated from songs made with our own music generator. Watch with sound on — the audio is the selected slice of the song, carried through by the model.

Getting a better clip from the AI music video generator
- Select the part of the song people will remember — usually the first line of the chorus or the drop.
- Describe one scene, not a story arc; short clips work best with one place and one action.
- Match the look to the energy: abstract or VHS for fast tracks, dreamy or cinematic for slow ones.
- Use an artist photo with even light and a clear face for performance clips.
- Make two versions in different looks and post both; it's often not obvious which will travel.
- Keep text and logos out of the prompt; add captions or titles in your editor afterwards.
AI music video generator FAQ
Does the video keep my song as the soundtrack?
The selected audio is passed as reference audio with an instruction to keep it unchanged, and in our tests the output carried it as the soundtrack. If you need studio-exact audio, replace the audio track with the original slice in your editor.
How long can the clip be?
5, 10 or 15 seconds per generation. For a longer piece, generate several clips from consecutive parts of the song and join them in an editor.
How much does it cost?
Two credits per second of video: 10 credits for 5 seconds, 20 for 10, 30 for 15. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
Can I put myself in the video?
Yes. Add a clear photo of yourself as the artist image. The AI music video generator uses it to keep your appearance consistent in the scene.
What resolution is the video?
768p — 768 × 1344 for vertical clips — in MP4 with the audio included, sized for social feeds.
Can I use the clips commercially?
Yes, for promoting and releasing music you own. Make sure you have the rights to the song and to any photo you upload.
Can I make a Spotify Canvas with it?
Generate a 5-second 9:16 clip. Spotify loops Canvas videos of 3 to 8 seconds without their own audio, so the clip's soundtrack isn't used there.
